While looking for a messenger that works in DR-DOS I found Netsend, which they say works nicely. Apparently, even XP users can use it. From what I understand, it's invoked by typing something like netsend, the person's username and then a message at the command prompt. Please correct me if I'm wrong. How do you find that person's username? Do you need to give out your ip address and if so, is this a bad thing? Do you need to type in the other person's name every time you send a message? Also, what about PST? I hear it's for Windows but it loads a command line interface and they even talked about using it under the dos prompt provided with Windows. So can you use it in a fully dos environment? It's a separate program but is netsend or is it just a built-in command? thanks.
